A double-page feature in Mixmag spotlighted his meteoric rise, while his explosive productions became a staple in Carl Cox’s sets worldwide — most notably during unforgettable showcases at Resistance in Miami. Cox closed no fewer than eight major festivals with Phutek’s music, including Awakenings and Creamfields, later welcoming further releases onto Intec and a celebrated collaboration with US techno pioneer Frankie Bones. Endorsements of that magnitude confirmed what dance-floors were already proving: Phutek’s sound was built for the biggest stages.

 

While many artists pivoted toward slower BPM trends in the years that followed, Phutek remained unapologetically loyal to the dark, driving and electrifying energy that defines true peak-time techno.
